1. Scope

With this data protection declaration, users receive information about the type, scope and purpose of the collection and use of their data by the responsible provider. The Federal Data Protection Act (BDSG) and the Telemedia Act (TMG) form the legal framework for data protection.

2. Collection of general information

With every access to this offer, information is automatically recorded by us or the web space provider. This information, also known as server log files, is of a general nature and does not allow any conclusions to be drawn about your person. Among other things, the following is recorded: name of the website, file, date, data volume, web browser and web browser version, operating system, the domain name of your internet provider, the so-called referrer URL (the page from which you accessed our offer) and the IP address. Without this data it would be technically impossible to deliver and display the content of the website. In this respect, the collection of data is absolutely necessary. In addition, we use the anonymous information for statistical purposes. They help us to optimize the offer and the technology. We also reserve the right to retrospectively check the log files if there is suspicion of illegal use of our offer.

3. Contact form

If you contact us by e-mail, we will save the information you have provided in order to be able to answer your request and ask possible follow-up questions.

4. Integration of services and content from third parties

Our offer sometimes includes content, services and performances from other providers. These are, for example, maps provided by Google Maps, videos from YouTube and graphics and images from other websites. In order for this data to be called up and displayed in the user's browser, the transmission of the IP address is essential. The providers (hereinafter referred to as "third-party providers") thus perceive the IP address of the respective user. Even if we endeavor to only use third-party providers who only need the IP address in order to be able to deliver content, we have no influence on whether the IP address is possibly saved. In this case, this process serves, among other things, statistical purposes. If we know that the IP address is being saved, we will inform our users of this.

5. Cookies

This website uses so-called cookies. These are text files that are stored on your computer by the server. They contain information about the browser, the IP address, the operating system and the Internet connection. We do not pass this data on to third parties or link it to personal data without your consent. Cookies have two main functions. They help us to make it easier for you to navigate through our offer and enable the website to be displayed correctly. They are not used to smuggle in viruses or to start programs. Users have the option of calling up our offer without cookies. To do this, the relevant settings must be changed in the browser. Please use the help function of your browser to find out how cookies are deactivated. However, we would like to point out that this may affect some functions of this website and limit the convenience of use. The pages http://www.aboutads.info/choices/ (USA) and http://www.youronlinechoices.com/uk/your-ad-choices/ (Europe) allow you to manage online ad cookies .

6. Use of Google Analytics

This website uses Google Analytics, a web analysis service from Google Inc. (“Google”). Google Analytics uses so-called “cookies”, text files that are stored on your computer and that enable your use of the website to be analyzed. The information generated by the cookie about your use of this website is usually transferred to a Google server in the USA and stored there. However, due to the activation of IP anonymization on this website, your IP address will be shortened beforehand by Google within member states of the European Union or in other contracting states of the Agreement on the European Economic Area. The full IP address is only transmitted to a Google server in the USA and shortened there in exceptional cases. On behalf of the operator of this website, Google will use this information to evaluate your use of the website, to compile reports on website activity and to provide the website operator with other services related to website activity and internet usage. The IP address transmitted by your browser as part of Google Analytics will not be merged with other Google data. You can prevent the storage of cookies by setting your browser software accordingly. However, we would like to point out that in this case you may not be able to use all functions of this website to their full extent. You can also prevent Google from collecting the data generated by the cookie and relating to your use of the website (including your IP address) and from processing this data by Google by downloading the browser plug-in available under the following link and install: Browser Add On to deactivate Google Analytics.

You can find more information on terms of use and data protection at http://www.google.com/analytics/terms/de.html or at https://www.google.de/intl/de/policies/.

7. Facebook social plug-in

We integrate plug-ins from the social network Facebook (address: 1601 South California Avenue, Palo Alto, CA 94304, USA) on our website. You can recognize the plug-ins - you can find an overview here: http://developers.facebook.com/docs/Plug-ins/ - on the Like button or on the Facebook logo. If you call up one of our websites with a Facebook plug-in, a direct connection to Facebook is established. We have no influence on the type and scope of the data that Facebook collects, stores and processes. We can only inform you according to our level of knowledge. Facebook is informed via the plug-in that you have accessed the corresponding website of our offer. This also applies to users who are not registered on Facebook. In this case there is the possibility that Facebook will save the IP address. If you are a member of Facebook and logged in, calling up a website with a Facebook plug-in can be clearly assigned to your Facebook user account. In addition, the plug-ins transmit all interactions, for example if you use the Like button or leave a comment. To prevent Facebook from storing data about you, please log out of Facebook before visiting our website. You can also block the plug-ins with add-ons for the browser (for example “Facebook Blocker”).

Information on the data protection regulations, the purpose and scope of data collection and data processing as well as the setting options for protecting privacy on Facebook can be found here: http://www.facebook.com/privacy/explanation.php.

8. Google+ Social plug-in

We integrate the Google+ (Google plus) social plug-in on our website, recognizable by the "+1" symbol on a white or colored background. The plug-in is provided by Google Inc. (Google for short, address: 1600 Amphitheater Parkway, Mountain View, CA 94043, USA). When you call up a website with a Google+ button, a connection to the Google servers is established. Google transmits the content of the button and integrates it on the corresponding website. At the same time, Google receives information about which page has just been accessed. According to Google, personal data is only collected when the Google+ button is clicked. For Google+ members who are logged in, the following applies: Even without interaction, Google at least stores and processes the IP address. We have no influence on the amount of data that is stored in this context. Google+ users who are logged into their account can recommend our websites by clicking on the "+1" button. In this case, Google not only saves the IP address and the browser, but also the content for which +1 was given and the page. This information is stored in the profile of the user and can be displayed together with the profile name and picture of the user in Google services, which also include the search results. Among other things, Google uses the data to optimize its own services. You can find information on Google's data protection regulations and the setting options for protecting privacy here: http://www.google.de/intl/de/policies/privacy/. Members of Google Plus who do not want your data to be collected and stored via our website, please log out of their Google+ account before visiting our offer.

9. Data economy

In accordance with the principles of data avoidance and data economy, we only store personal data for as long as it is necessary or prescribed by law (statutory storage period). If the purpose of the information collected no longer applies or if the storage period ends, we will block or delete the data.

10. Your rights to information, correction, blocking, deletion and objection

If there is no statutory archiving obligation, you can also request the deletion of the data. Otherwise we will block the data if you wish.

11. Changes to our data protection declaration

We reserve the right to make changes at any time to ensure that our data protection declaration always complies with the current legal requirements. This also applies in the event that the data protection declaration has to be adapted due to new or revised services, for example new services. The new data protection declaration will then apply to our offer on your next visit.

12. Data protection declaration for the use of Piwik

Our website uses Piwik, which is a so-called web analysis service. Piwik uses so-called "cookies", text files that are stored on your computer and that enable us to analyze the use of the website. For this purpose, the usage information generated by the cookie (including your abbreviated IP address) is transferred to our server and stored for usage analysis purposes, which we use to optimize our website. Your IP address is immediately anonymized during this process, so that you as a user remain anonymous to us. The information generated by the cookie about your use of this website will not be passed on to third parties. You can prevent the use of cookies by setting your browser software accordingly; however, in this case you may not be able to use all functions of this website to their full extent.
